The hospital is able to admit patients who have physical needs in addition to their mental health needs. Each ward has an assisted bathroom and a bedroom specially designed to meet the needs of patients with disabilities. All occupational therapy activities are available on the ground floor and should a patient need to access a 1st floor room,  then a lift is available in both the administration and clinical therapy buildings.

Prior to admission, a review of the patient's physical needs would be undertaken to ensure that appropriate care can be provided within the allocated ward.

This assessment would not only include a physical review but also an evaluation of the patient's vulnerability given his/her disability on the particular ward.
