Admissions

Hanover House admits patients who have a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. We also accept individuals who have a learning disability as a secondary diagnosis. Our patients have complex needs and often have an offending history or have demonstrated risk behaviours.

On admission each patient will participate in a full multi-disciplinary assessment. This will include a detailed psychiatric assessment, a comprehensive psychological assessment, social and behavioural assessments. Risk assessments are developed collaboratively with the patient.

Through this process specific individual treatment targets are developed which inform future care planning and therapeutic interventions.
